This weekend’s European lottery jackpot is $145 million. That’s right, one-hundred and forty five million. A sixth of a BILLION dollars. Or €147.8 million to be precise.
The record-breaking draw, which anyone can participate in, is offering players the chance to get their hands on a €147.8 million jackpot. Hopeful players are expected to flock to buy tickets, which cost around $2 each, for a shot at winning the world record breaking jackpot. The mammoth prize comes after six weeks without a winning ticket being picked, and around a hundred million people are expected to participate.
That’s one way to profit from a recession.
Update: I didn’t win. The whole prize went to a single ticket-holder from Spain. Aye caramba!
